I have always considered myself to be more of an abstract painter/artist, but I have recently decided to take a shot at classical rose vase paintings, and during my search I have found myself to be keen into experimenting with some rose painting techniques that were fun to use, so here I have posted the process of painting this art piece during the course of two days.
Setting up my work place
Drawing the outlines using colored charcoal
First layer of acrylic paint emphasizing the roses and part of the background
Adding more light into the leave surrounding the roses
Adding more bold detail into the background
creating the basic outline for the vase
Finished acrylic painting with details
