In this video, I wanted to talk about something I have been working on for a long time, which is my experimental calligraphy sketchbook.

The sketchbook is not yet complete, but I wanted to share my progress with anyone who might be interested in creating something similar. I am a big fan of ink and calligraphy, which I only started learning two years ago.

It was a challenge to be patient with it, as calligraphy requires a delicate touch and slow strokes. However, I persevered and learned the gothic letters and many other fun styles. The idea behind the sketchbook is for me to experiment with ink and calligraphy styles and fonts. It's a fun medium to work with, and I love the different shades and degrees of black that I can achieve with just a little bit of water. I would recommend anyone to learn calligraphy, although finding the right tools can be tricky.

Some of my calligraphy works were featured in a poster book that I published at school called "Red Spider Lilies."

It was enjoyable to create, and I'm looking forward to creating more pages for the sketchbook.

I would love to do a calligraphy tutorial one day, but I am not that confident with my skills yet. It takes years of practice to become a master calligrapher, and even after two years, I am still not perfect. Nevertheless, I am excited about the progress of my sketchbook, and I promise to show the whole thing once it is complete.

My photo
As an architectural designer, artist, and author, I have always been drawn to experimental approaches and techniques. I graduated from German Jordanian University and have since gained a wealth of experience in various fields such as landscape architecture, heritage conservation, exhibition design, and architecture design. My style has been described as contemporary, abstract, and uncanny. You can find my work showcased on multiple websites, including my architectural designs, abstract paintings, travel photography, and the occasional poetry excerpts that I publish as a collection on a yearly basis. I am the creator of several projects, including "Islamic Architecture by Dxx," "Digital Architecture Bit Box," "The Mind of Architecture," and "Noises of Architecture (NOA)."
